How It Works
MResult Healthcare's Preadmissions Srategic Planner combines web-based and offline access to a "pipeline" of patient referrals.
Individual patients are assessed against industry-standard pre-admission guidelines, based on criteria developed by the National Association of Long Term Hospitals (NALTH). Guidelines are completely customizable to reflect your hospital's unique strengths or regulatory requirements.
User Defined Status' and Online Collaboration tools like Notes and Shared Attachments allow one or more reviewers to quickly share information and reach informed enrollment decisions. All enrollment decisions are documented within the system and available for regulatory reporting, such as RAC Audit requests.
The dynamic nature of patient information capture combined with robust outcomes and financial reporting supports a systematic, process-based approach to pre-enrollment screening.
- The Admissions process is driven by a standardized set of admission criteria, including clinical indicators. Dynamically generated electronic forms allow remote capture and upload of Patient Profile.
- User-defined status' and online collaboration tools support reaching a shared, informed admission decision. Admission decision documentation is available to support RAC audit requests, JCAHO reporting, etc.
- A rich set of reports are available for strategic planning, including identifying which clinical programs are consistently best utilized, which hospitals are referring what type of patient, and where new services may be required to attract desirable patients.
- Clinical outcomes reports allow for ongoing refinements in admission criteria and/or addition of criteria unique to your state or hospital.
- System uses updated criteria to dynamically generate Patient Screening forms, so updated criteria are instantly available to the entire organization.
