Hamden CT - MResult Healthcare LLC has helped Griffin Hospital launch a newly designed self-service consumer website that will help Griffin improve their content management process while dramatically lowering costs.
Griffin Hospital's consumer website provides patients and physicians with convenient online services and timely medical information. The new design and content management platform have helped take the site to the next level by providing a more streamlined and easy to use interface, an updated look and feel and enhanced functionality. The new site was built using the open source DotNetNuke Content Management platform; a robust system for deploying enterprise level Websites, Intranets and Microsites. DotNetNuke's easy content publishing tools are helping Griffin Hospital's Web Communications staff save money while providing even better service to their stakeholders.
According to Ken Roberts, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Griffin Hospital, one of the primary goals for the project was to help free the communications team from dependency on outside vendors. “The public site has really become a central part of how we talk to our community.” says Roberts. “And supporting the rest of the hospital’s efforts in fund-raising, educational outreach and marketing means we have to be able to update the site continuously and create new content on a regular basis. By putting the content management tools directly into our internal content experts’ hands, we are able to make our website more dynamic and expedite our workflow.”
